Community principle: Participation is a privilege built on respect. Rules may vary by platform or game server, but harassment, abuse, impersonation, doxxing, threats, scams, and deliberate disruption are not acceptable anywhere under the Jade Vanity Gaming umbrella.
1. Purpose and Scope
This Code applies to JadeVanityGaming.com, JDTracks, the JVG Codex, creator features, Discord communities, Twitch and YouTube participation, social media spaces, supported SCUM servers, support tickets, community events, collaborations, submissions, and future JVG Studio or APEX-related services that reference it.
Platform-specific and server-specific rules apply in addition to this Code. When rules differ, follow the stricter requirement unless staff state otherwise.
2. Core Values
RespectTreat people with dignity, even during disagreement.
IntegrityBe honest, accountable, and transparent about your actions.
CommunityHelp create spaces where people can participate safely and constructively.
CreativitySupport original expression, learning, and responsible collaboration.
FairnessApply standards consistently and avoid favoritism, retaliation, or harassment.
SafetyProtect privacy, accounts, systems, and community members from harm.
3. Expected Conduct
Community members are expected to:
- Communicate respectfully and address ideas or behavior rather than attacking individuals.
- Use channels, forums, ticket systems, and game-server features for their intended purposes.
- Follow reasonable staff instructions and cooperate during support, moderation, or security reviews.
- Provide accurate information when reporting issues and correct mistakes when discovered.
- Respect boundaries, consent, privacy, intellectual property, and platform rules.
- Use content warnings when material may reasonably affect viewers because of flashing lights, loud audio, graphic violence, or sensitive topics.
- Give constructive feedback and avoid dogpiling, mockery, or deliberate humiliation.
4. Prohibited Conduct
The following conduct is prohibited:
- Harassment, stalking, intimidation, bullying, unwanted sexual attention, or continued contact after a clear request to stop.
- Hate speech, slurs, discriminatory abuse, dehumanizing content, or targeted hostility based on protected or personal characteristics.
- Threats, encouragement of violence, credible self-harm coercion, or attempts to frighten others through real-world harm.
- Doxxing, sharing private information, exposing private conversations without a legitimate safety reason, or encouraging others to obtain personal data.
- Impersonating staff, creators, partners, server administrators, or another community member.
- Scams, phishing, fraudulent giveaways, malware, malicious files, credential theft, or deceptive links.
- Raiding, brigading, ban evasion, organized disruption, spam, mass mentions, or coordinated harassment.
- Posting illegal, exploitative, sexually explicit, or excessively graphic content outside an expressly approved context.
- Cheating, exploiting, sabotaging, or intentionally disrupting game servers, tools, websites, accounts, or community systems.
- Retaliating against a person for reporting misconduct or participating in an investigation.
5. Content and Creator Standards
Content shared, submitted, featured, or published through JVG spaces must be lawful, appropriately attributed, and suitable for the intended audience and channel.
- Do not submit content you do not own or have permission to use.
- Disclose sponsorships, affiliate relationships, paid promotions, gifts, or material conflicts of interest.
- Do not manipulate evidence, fabricate claims, or present rumors as verified facts.
- Reviews and criticism should focus on the work, service, or conduct rather than personal attacks.
- Creator collaborations require consent and must respect agreed credit, ownership, deadlines, and boundaries.
- JVG may decline, edit, unfeature, or remove submissions that do not meet quality, safety, legal, or community standards.
6. Discord and Community Spaces
- Read channel descriptions, pinned posts, announcements, and local rules before posting.
- Keep conversations in the appropriate channels and avoid repeatedly derailing discussions.
- Do not flood voice channels with noise, soundboards, music, or interruptions without agreement from participants.
- Usernames, nicknames, avatars, statuses, and profiles must comply with this Code.
- Do not publicly argue active moderation cases. Use the designated ticket or appeal process.
- Direct-message advertising, recruitment, solicitation, or promotion without permission is prohibited.
7. Game Servers and Support Tickets
Supported game servers may maintain separate rules, staff rosters, ticket procedures, appeal standards, evidence requirements, and enforcement systems. Those rules apply in addition to this Code.
For SCUM server assistance, use the applicable Discord ticket system and include relevant details such as your in-game name, platform identifier when required, approximate time, location, description, screenshots, video, or logs.
Do not contact staff repeatedly through multiple channels for the same issue. Staff members are volunteers or community operators and will respond when available. Emergencies, exploits, threats, or active security issues should be identified clearly without abusing urgency labels.
8. Streaming, Video, and Social Media
When representing, featuring, or collaborating with Jade Vanity Gaming:
- Follow the rules of the platform and the game being shown.
- Moderate chat and comments to a reasonable standard.
- Avoid presenting personal opinions as official JVG or server policy.
- Do not expose private tickets, personal information, staff discussions, or security details on stream.
- Obtain consent before featuring private voice conversations or community members in sensitive contexts.
- Clearly disclose sponsored, affiliate, or promotional relationships.
9. Privacy, Security, and Impersonation
Official JVG or server staff will not request your password, payment-card details, authentication codes, complete account credentials, or private device access through ordinary support channels.
Report suspected impersonation, phishing, fraudulent staff messages, malicious downloads, account compromise, or security vulnerabilities privately. Do not publicly publish exploit details that could place users or systems at further risk.
10. AI-Assisted and Submitted Content
AI-assisted images, writing, music concepts, code, or other materials must comply with the same rules as human-created content. Contributors remain responsible for accuracy, rights, attribution, safety, and disclosure where AI use is material to the submission.
- Do not use AI tools to impersonate a real person, fabricate evidence, create deceptive endorsements, or mislead the community.
- Do not submit private community data, tickets, personal information, or confidential materials to external AI systems without authorization.
- AI-assisted content may be declined or removed when ownership, consent, accuracy, or safety cannot be reasonably established.
11. Staff Conduct and Authority
Staff are expected to act professionally, fairly, consistently, and confidentially where appropriate. They should avoid conflicts of interest, retaliation, public humiliation, and unnecessary disclosure of reports or private information.
Staff may take immediate action when reasonably necessary to protect users, preserve evidence, stop disruption, secure systems, or comply with platform or legal requirements. No staff member is required to tolerate abuse or provide assistance outside available time and approved support procedures.
12. Reporting Violations
Use the support or moderation channel that matches where the incident occurred:
- For a supported game server, use that server’s Discord ticket procedure.
- For Jade Vanity Gaming website, creator, or general community concerns, use the contact page or the appropriate JVG Discord channel.
- For platform-specific abuse, also use the reporting tools provided by Discord, Twitch, YouTube, Steam, or the relevant service.
Provide accurate context, usernames, dates, approximate times, locations, links, screenshots, video, and relevant messages when available. Do not edit evidence in a misleading way or organize public pressure around an active report.
13. Enforcement
Responses depend on severity, context, evidence, history, impact, intent, cooperation, safety risk, and applicable platform or server rules.
GuidanceInformal correction or reminder.
WarningDocumented notice and required change.
RestrictionLimited access, mute, role removal, or feature restriction.
SuspensionTemporary removal from a service or community.
RemovalPermanent ban, partnership removal, or access termination.
Severe behavior may result in immediate removal without prior warnings. Enforcement on one JVG service may affect access to related services when necessary for safety, security, or community integrity.
14. Appeals
When an appeal process is available, submit it through the designated ticket or contact method. Include your username, the action taken, relevant date, why you believe the decision should be reviewed, and any new or corrected evidence.
Appeals should be respectful and focused on the decision. Harassment, threats, repeated submissions, evasion, or public pressure campaigns may result in the appeal being closed.
Appeals may be reviewed by an uninvolved or senior staff member when practical. Outcomes may uphold, reduce, modify, reverse, or replace the original action. Some safety, platform, legal, or ownership decisions may not be appealable.
15. Changes
This Code may be updated as JVG services, communities, platforms, or risks change. The current version will be posted on this page with an updated date. Important changes may also be announced through the website or relevant community channels.
