Welcome to the Jade Vanity Gaming community! This Code of Conduct outlines our expectations for all those who participate in our community, whether through our website, Discord server, social media channels, game servers, or any other platform associated with Jade Vanity Gaming.
Our goal is to create a positive, inclusive, and supportive environment where content creators, gamers, and community members can connect, learn, and grow together. This Code of Conduct helps us maintain that environment by establishing clear guidelines for behavior and interaction.
By participating in our community, you agree to abide by this Code of Conduct. We ask that you read it carefully and refer to it whenever needed.

The following guidelines apply to all interactions within the Jade Vanity Gaming community:
Treat others with kindness and respect. Disagreements are natural, but always focus on the ideas being discussed, not the individuals involved. Avoid personal attacks, insults, and derogatory language.
Our community welcomes people of all backgrounds and identities, including but not limited to members of any race, ethnicity, culture, national origin, color, immigration status, social and economic class, educational level, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, age, size, family status, political belief, religion, and mental and physical ability.
We do not tolerate harassment in any form. Harassment includes, but is not limited to:
Hate speech, discriminatory remarks, and harmful stereotypes are prohibited. This includes language, images, or other content that promotes, encourages, or facilitates discrimination, denigration, objectification, harassment, or violence based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, disability, or serious disease.
When providing feedback or engaging in discussions, be constructive and considerate. Focus on helping others improve rather than tearing them down. Criticism should be specific, actionable, and delivered with empathy.
Do not share personal information about other community members without their explicit consent. This includes but is not limited to real names, contact information, addresses, and personal details shared in confidence.
Excessive self-promotion, spam, and irrelevant advertising are not allowed. While we encourage sharing your work and achievements, this should be done in appropriate channels and contexts, and should not overwhelm community spaces.
These standards apply to all content shared within our community, including posts, comments, guides, tutorials, artwork, videos, and streams.
All content must be appropriate for a diverse audience. Content that is excessively violent, sexually explicit, or otherwise inappropriate is prohibited.
Respect intellectual property rights. Do not post content that you do not have the right to share. When using others' work, provide proper attribution and ensure you have permission or are following fair use guidelines.
Strive for accuracy in the information you share. If you're not certain about something, make that clear. If you discover you've shared incorrect information, correct it promptly.
Content should aim to be constructive, whether it's entertaining, educational, or informative. Content created primarily to provoke negative reactions or "troll" is not welcome.
If your content contains potentially sensitive or triggering material, please provide appropriate content warnings. This includes but is not limited to content featuring violence, flashing lights, loud noises, or discussions of traumatic experiences.
In addition to the general guidelines above, the following rules apply specifically to our Discord server:
Use channels for their intended purpose. Off-topic discussions should be moved to appropriate channels. Check channel descriptions and pinned messages for specific rules.
Be mindful of others in voice channels. Avoid excessive background noise, interrupting others, or playing music/sounds without permission. Use push-to-talk in busy channels.
Respect the decisions of moderators and staff. If you disagree with a moderation action, please discuss it privately with the moderator or through the appropriate channels rather than publicly challenging it.
Organizing or participating in raids or brigading of other servers, communities, or individuals is strictly prohibited.
Usernames and avatars must comply with our content standards. Offensive, misleading, or inappropriate usernames or avatars are not allowed.
These guidelines apply to content creators who contribute to or are featured on Jade Vanity Gaming platforms:
Strive for high-quality content that provides value to the community. This includes clear communication, accurate information, and thoughtful presentation.
Be transparent about sponsorships, affiliations, and potential conflicts of interest. Clearly disclose when content includes paid promotions or affiliate links.
When reviewing games, products, or services, provide fair and balanced assessments. Criticism should be constructive and focused on the work, not the creators.
Support and respect fellow creators. Do not engage in behavior that undermines, harasses, or unfairly criticizes other creators.
Engage with the community in a positive and constructive manner. Respond to comments and feedback respectfully, even when it's critical.
These guidelines apply to streamers affiliated with Jade Vanity Gaming and to streams featured on our platforms:
Stream content must comply with our general content standards. Additionally, be mindful of the games you play and the content they contain, especially if your audience includes younger viewers.
Maintain a positive and inclusive chat environment. Establish clear chat rules and enforce them consistently. Consider appointing moderators for larger streams.
When streaming as a representative of Jade Vanity Gaming, conduct yourself in a manner that reflects our core values and community standards.
Strive for good technical quality in your streams, including clear audio, stable video, and appropriate lighting. If technical issues arise, address them promptly and communicate with your audience.

If you believe an enforcement action was taken against you unfairly, you have the right to appeal the decision.

Appeals will be reviewed by a moderator or administrator who was not involved in the original enforcement action. We aim to respond to appeals within 7 business days.
